Crochet Doily Rug

If you’re looking to add some coziness and comfort to your home decor, a crocheted doily rug is the perfect way to do it.

They’re easy enough for beginners, so if you want to try out crochet but don’t know where to start, this project is a great place.

You can make one as large or small as you like there are no rules here! We used cotton yarn in our example, but any type of yarn would work just fine if that’s what you have on hand.

The size of the finished piece will depend on how many rounds / rows per inch (rpi) were worked when crocheting the doilies.

The number of rpi will also affect how long it takes to complete each round / row of your project since time spent crocheting depends directly on how much stitches are being made per inch.

Jumbo Pom Pom Blanket

If you’re looking to add some cozy texture to your home, why not crochet a blanket? The ideal yarn for this project is bulky yarn, which makes it quick and easy to work up. It’s also an excellent way to use up scrap pieces of yarn.

To make the pom poms: Use a large hook (size K or L) and grab a skein of super bulky yarn. You’ll need approximately 2 1/2 times as much yardage as you would normally use for the same sized blanket.

For example, if you want a 25-inch by 35-inch blanket, multiply those figures together and then take that total number and multiply it by two and one half—that’s how much yardage you’ll need in your bulky weight yarns!

Also make sure that whatever colorway(s) you choose has enough contrast between all three colors so that when they are combined into one giant pom pom they will be attractive but still look cohesive with each other.

You can always add tassels at each corner as well if desired; just stitch them on using matching thread!

Crochet Mermaid Tail Blanket

Crochet a mermaid tail blanket for your little one. The pattern is easy to follow and uses chunky yarn in the color of your choosing, so you can make it fit any decor.

If you want something more modern looking, consider using two different colors of your favorite chunky yarns!

Woven Macrame Wall Hanging

Materials:

  • crochet hook (size B)
  • yarn, any color(s) you like. If you want to use the same colors as me, I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in black and white.

Instructions:

  • Chain 10 + 1 for turning chain (you should have 11 chains total).
  • In the second chain from the hook, work a double crochet (dc).
  • In each of the next 9 stitches work 2 dcs together – this will create an even number of stitches on your piece so far!
  • Chain 3 and turn your work so that it is facing away from you again; now dc into each stitch across (10 dcs).

Repeat steps 4 and 5 until your piece measures approximately 36″ long – or however long you’d like it! To finish off this project simply weave in all of those ends using some yarn needle magic! Then hang up somewhere special where everyone can see how amazing your new wall hanging looks!

Crochet Sunburst Granny Square Blanket

This crochet sunburst granny square blanket pattern is super easy, and it’s a great way to use up scraps of yarn. The pattern is free on Ravelry.

You can make this blanket any size you want it’s all about the number of squares in your blanket! Since each individual square is so small, it’s also great for using up scrap yarn from other projects.

Chunky T-Shirt Yarn Basket

This basket is super quick and easy to make, so it’s the perfect project if you’re looking for something cozy to knit during your winter downtime. You will need:

  • a large t-shirt (any size will work, but I like them long enough to cover most of my arms)
  • crochet hooks in sizes P and J for the body of your basket and size N for the base

With your larger hook (either P or J), chain 12 stitches then join with a slip stitch at first ch made. Ch 2 and work 1 single crochet into each stitch around edge of opening. Cut yarn, leaving about 8 inches for sewing later on!

Tie off all loose ends neatly with a tiny knot (don’t worry if they look messy). Now we are going back over those chains by working another row of single crochets into them using our smaller hook (size N).

This time around we should have 15 stitches total because we counted both sides of those initial chains as one stitch each time we worked through them before!

That means that every row has 3 spaces between each sc along that side where there isn’t any fabric yet; this will leave room for stuffing later on too without affecting how it looks now…

Summer Breeze Pillow Covers

These pillow covers are a great way to decorate your home and create a cozy atmosphere. Pillow covers are also easy to remove and clean, so they’re perfect for people who want to change the look of their space without having to replace expensive pillows.

The pattern can be made in any size, and each pattern comes with detailed instructions that make it easy for beginners.

If you have any questions about the pattern or how crochet works, there are videos available on YouTube with tutorials from experienced designers.

To make these blankets:

  • You will need two skeins each of worsted weight yarn in two different colors (I used red & blue). The finished product should measure approximately 30 inches by 40 inches (75 cm x 100 cm).
