Crochet Pillow Cover

What you’ll need:

A pillow cover that’s the right size for your pillow. If this is your first time making a crochet project, it’s best to start with something small and simple like a pillow cover.

If you’re unsure of what size to get, measure around your current pillow to get an approximate idea of how much fabric will be needed (the width should be approximately twice as wide as the height).

The pattern of choice in written form or online link. Pattern links often contain photos showing how they should look at certain steps along the way, which can help immensely when learning how to crochet properly without someone nearby who knows what they’re doing!

Crochet Plant Hanger

Crochet Plant Hanger is an easy project that can be made in no time. It’s also a great way to use up yarn you don’t want anymore, which is always a plus.

Supplies:

  • Yarn (I used Bernat Handicrafter Cotton)
  • Scissors or needle and thread for sewing the hanger together

Let’s get started!

Crochet Table Runner

Crochet table runners are the perfect way to add some color, texture and style to your dining room. You can use them as a stylish runner on a large table or as a trivet for hot dishes. Crochet table runners are also great for covering up small rips in wood or metal tables.

You can use any type of yarn and hook size that you like when making crochet table runners, but they look best when you use thread weight (size 10) yarn and an E hook (3.50 mm). If you want to make your runner extra thick, choose worsted weight (size 4) yarn instead of thread weight yarn.

Crochet Table Runner Patterns

There are many different ways you can make your own crochet table runner using simple stitches like single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet and treble crochet stitches combined with chain spaces for shaping the edges of the runner itself.

I’ve found quite a few patterns online that have inspired me on my quest towards making one myself! Here is just one example: How To Make A Crochet Table Runner by Craft Passionate

Crochet Wall Art

Crochet wall art is a great way to personalize your home, and it’s easy to make. You can crochet any shape or size you like and use any yarn you’d like. The best part? It’s as big as you want it!

To get started, measure the space where you’d like to hang your crochet wall art. If your piece is going to be small (like a coaster), just do this once and move on with the pattern from there.

But if it will be larger (a blanket or tablecloth) then keep measuring every few rows of stitches until all the rows are done so that when they are sewn together they will fit nicely next to each other on the wall!

Crochet Kitchen Towels

Materials

Yarn: Choose a nice cotton yarn, or try out something different like linen. It’s helpful to have some extra-thick yarn, such as chunky or bulky weight. I love Bernat Blanket yarn because it’s soft and easy to work with, plus it comes in many colors!

Crochet hook: A size G crochet hook is what I used for the kitchen towels pictured here. If you’re new to crochet or want an easier project than these towels, try using an H hook instead!

Scissors: For cutting your cotton yarn into strips for crocheting (and cutting your finished crochet projects down into smaller pieces).

Tape measure: To check your progress as you go along while crocheting—it’ll be one less thing for you to worry about! Just remember that when determining if a piece of fabric is big enough for its intended purpose (like making a kitchen towel), its length should not exceed five times its width (e.g., if your fabric piece measures 5 inches wide by 10 inches long then 5×10=50 inches).

Knitted Stools

You can use a pattern to make your own stool. Be sure to use a yarn that is easy to work with, such as cotton or acrylic, and one that’s durable enough for regular use.

You’ll also want it to be washable and stain resistant in case of spills. The last thing you need is a stool that looks nice but isn’t comfortable enough for you or your guests!

For extra comfort, choose an attractive color of yarn that has some bounce or springiness to it (like merino wool). This will help create cushy seats that aren’t too hard on the old tushie.

Knitted Mug Cozy

Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn in any color(s) you like (amount varies by size)
  • Size H crochet hook

Instructions:

Make a magic ring with your chosen color of yarn or you can use the “chainless starting double crochet” method to begin instead. If you don’t know how, there are plenty of tutorials online for it! For this pattern, we’re using red.

The finished cozy should measure 11 inches around before washing and drying. If yours is larger than that, just add more rounds until it fits your mug well without stretching too much at the top opening where it holds onto the handle of your mug (it will stretch out over time).

Chain 1 and SC 12 into ring; join with slip stitch to first SC made. Chain 1 again then continue working single crochets around entire circle until piece measures 3 inches tall; finish off leaving long tail for sewing together later on down below when making second layer with white yarn so we can add contrast stitching along top edge where seam meets pink “braided” section between two colors – this adds visual interest here so don’t skip this step!

Knitted Throw Blanket

Knit Blankets are a fantastic way to add warmth and style to your home. Not only are they super comfortable, but they also look incredible!

Knitting is an easy craft that can be done by anyone with the basic knowledge of how to cast on, knit, and purl.

Once you get the hang of it, knitting can truly be a relaxing hobby for you and your friends or family members.

In order to make this beautiful blanket you will need:

  • Size 10 knitting needles (the smaller the number on the needle, the bigger it gets)
  • Yarn in whatever color(s) you choose (I love rainbow colors!)
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle

Instructions: Begin by casting on 30 stitches with your size 10 knitting needles; then begin working in garter stitch which means every row alternates between knit into front loops only and purl into back loops only at every edge stitch; keep repeating this until desired length has been reached; bind off loosely using kitchener stitch method

Crocheted Lampshade Covers

Making a lampshade cover is a great way to show off your crocheting skills. With the right materials and a little bit of craftiness, you can make one in no time at all. Here’s how:

Choose the right material. For this project, choose something that’s easy to work with and not too thick. Knit fabrics are ideal because they stretch easily and are lightweight enough for delicate crochet work but still give some stability to the finished product.

Cotton blends or even wool blends can be used as long as they’re thin enough for stitching together without creating bulkiness on top of your fabric shade (you don’t want anything but light filtering through when it’s hung).

You’ll also want something washable—this will help keep dust from collecting inside the lampshade once it’s been installed back onto its original base fixture! If you don’t have any knits lying around your house already (or if you don’t feel confident about sewing them together yourself), try looking into places like Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts™ or Hobby Lobby® where they carry tons of different fabrics here in America.”
